About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Business Operations Coordinator to join our team at American Express. As a key member of our EMEA Merchant Acquisition Sales organization, you will play a critical role in supporting our sales team and ensuring the smooth operation of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the implementation and rollout of ad hoc projects, driving continuous improvement across the team.
  • Support the organization and coordination of events, market visits, team meetings, and Townhalls, as well as calendarization of Business Unit Reviews (BURs).
  • Provide administrative support to leaders, including onboarding new hires and internal movements, business conduct and call monitoring, equipment setup, and access management.
  • Act as a Vice President Assistant, handling travel arrangements, agenda organization, expense report preparation, and follow-up on commitments and deadlines.
  • Manage calendar activities, coordinate business meetings, and oversee technical logistics, facility reservations, catering services, and meeting materials.
  • Support key performance reporting and complex presentations, as well as provide administrative assistance to leaders on various tasks.
  • Manage contract signature processes and ensure access to governance systems for channel.
Requirements
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
  • Administrative experience in a large organization, with a proven track record of interacting effectively with senior executives.
  • Strong attention to detail, interpersonal, relationship-building, and networking skills to build and maintain effective professional relationships across the organization.
  • Organizational skills, prioritization, and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong relationship-building, and time management skills.
  • A team player with a high level of proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Access, and PowerPoint), with Salesforce experience a plus.
