About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Test and Commissioning Specialist to join our team at Alstom Gruppe. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing testing activities in support of railway signaling systems projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute testing activities in support of one or several projects on railway signaling systems under the direction of your hierarchy and according to the testing procedure/documentation.
  • Work closely with teams across the business (V&V, engineering) to ensure defects identification and correction (trouble shooting).
  • Take care of checking that test tools are in perfect working order and calibrated, replacing defective equipment and ensuring its repair in accordance with procedures in force.
  • In the event of a non-conformity observed during the commissioning phase, make a return experience (REX) towards the project and ensure that all design-related issues are correctly reported in the adequate tools.

Requirements

  • Technical learning in electronics or electricity or equivalent experience in a function in the industrial environment.
  • Flexibility and mobility, available for short or long missions in different locations and countries.
  • Available to work on field also for night shifts.
  • Rigorous & team player.
  • Resilience, with an analytic way of thinking in order to solve complex system failures.
  • Customer satisfaction and results-oriented.
  • Able to communicate in an open and clear manner with T&C Team.
