Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Michelin. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and negotiating with suppliers to meet the needs of our internal partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Travel up to 30% of the time within Mexico to understand market trends and opportunities.
• Analyze and segment our portfolio to identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct tenders and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible deals.
• Develop and implement a sustainable sourcing strategy to meet the needs of our internal partners.
• Manage contractual agreements and work with contract managers to ensure smooth deployment and operational management.
• Identify opportunities for value creation and progress, and manage key performance metrics of the portfolio.
• Define and manage progress plans with suppliers, and facilitate the application of Purchase to Pay processes.
• Evaluate and anticipate risks, and implement mitigation action plans as needed.
• Resolve claims and non-conformities, and apply Sourcing to Contract and Purchase to Pay processes.
