Job Summary
The Amazon Air Gateway Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day relationships with third-party (3P) partners, ensuring operational performance, quality, security, and customer satisfaction. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in transportation, flight, and ground operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage 3P partner relationships to optimize capacity and productivity.
- Develop and execute productivity plans to balance labor and meet operational goals.
- Monitor ramp handling process performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Proactively address potential disruptions and close gaps between performance and goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and manage quality management and continuous improvement programs.
- Generate and analyze performance metrics to drive business results.
- Identify and lead process improvement initiatives and lean tools.
- Partner with internal business partners to drive effective solutions to complex challenges.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in transportation, flight, and ground operations.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and execute projects in a timely manner.
- Ability to influence internal and external organizations to achieve corporate goals.
