Job Summary
As a Technical Service Specialist at Werfen, you will be responsible for leading the service of assigned instrument platforms, ensuring their proper functioning and continuous improvement. This role requires strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills to provide qualified service to customers and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Address escalated technical issues and ensure timely resolution
- Monitor and improve the performance of assigned instruments, including First Time Fix, IFR, and Solution in less than 24 hours
- Provide remote, voice, or on-site support to Field Service Engineers (FSEs)
- Maintain contact with manufacturers and escalate improvements
- Develop and implement training programs for FSEs
- Review service performance and generate regular reports on quantitative and qualitative metrics
- Supervise operations of assigned units and define adequate stock levels
- Elaborate maintenance procedures and include them in instrument schedules
- Inform manufacturers about complaints and provide application support
Requirements
- Technical service support experience
- Former studies related to technical knowledge (Industrial, Electronic, Informatics, Telecommunications Engineering, etc.)
- Language fluency: Spanish and English
- Strong analytical and technical skills, with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders
