Job Summary

Voltalia is seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to customers and internal teams on PV system design, installation, and commissioning.
  • Assist in the development of alternative solutions for customers within our portfolio.
  • Conduct training sessions for customers and installers on our catalog equipment.
  • Collaborate with our sales team to prepare technical quotations and provide technical support during the sales process.
  • Perform commissioning and monitoring of PV systems, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in PV technology.
  • Ensure compliance with Spanish regulations and certifications for PV installations.

Requirements

  • Fluent in Spanish, conversational English, and knowledge of other languages is an asset.
  • FP degree or professional training in a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in PV design and installation, with knowledge of PV design tools such as PV Syst, AutoCAD, or PV-Sol.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, installers, and internal teams.
  • Ability to work with IT tools such as Excel, Word, and CRM/ERP systems.

Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent travel to customer sites throughout Spain and occasionally to other countries. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
