About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Editorial Operations Assistant to join our team in Iberia. As a key member of our editorial operations team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our local management team, managing contracts and correspondence, and acting as a security officer and coordinator for our data protection officer.

You will also support our bureaus in Spain and Portugal with traveling to major events, accreditations, visa applications, and more. Additionally, you will process invoices in coordination with our finance and accounting teams, cooperate with vendors and internal sourcing department, and manage our fleet of company vehicles.

Other responsibilities include managing local subscriptions (TV cables, mobile phones, news feeds), familiarizing new employees with our company systems, coordinating with our IT departments, and liaising with Facilities in the areas of shipment management, health and safety, maintenance, and business continuity.

About You

We're looking for a candidate with exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as fluency in Spanish and English (knowledge of Portuguese is an advantage). You should have advanced level experience in MS Office, including Outlook, Word, Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

You should be able to work independently or with minimal supervision, and have the ability to multitask and meet changing deadlines, time management, and attention to details. Strong problem-solving, project management, and collaboration skills are also essential.
