About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Head of Restaurants to lead our food and beverage operations at SLS Barcelona. As a key member of our pre-opening team, you will be responsible for directing the operations of all food and beverage outlets within the hotel, ensuring that our service standards meet the expectations of our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure high-quality service that meets guest needs promptly and courteously, maximizing satisfaction and encouraging return visits.
- Lead the team to consistently meet service standards, providing training and guidance on how to deliver exceptional service.
- Contribute to the hiring process, conduct performance appraisals, and make personnel-related decisions.
- Track and control team productivity and operational expenses to ensure profitability.
- Ensure that food and beverage products are of the highest quality and presented effectively.
- Support the Director of Food and Beverage in various administrative tasks, including departmental reports and strategic planning.
Requirements
- Degree with emphasis in Hospitality/Restaurants management.
- +4 years experience in hospitality within hotels/restaurants with high volume of food & beverage operations in a management role.
- Knowledge of local market will be a plus.
- Proven team leader with a high level of energy and motivation with a proven track record of living the company's values.
- Proficient knowledge of computer systems such as: Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook is required.
- Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and have a high level attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluent in Spanish and English.
