About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Engineering Sourcing team in EMEA. This role goes beyond simple talent sourcing; you will be a key member delivering and advocating the transformation of our sourcing function. In addition, you will coach and mentor teams, drive the adoption of best practices, and build and engage key stakeholder relationships.

About the Team
Microsoft's Global Talent Acquisition team's purpose is to attract, engage, assess, and hire the best talent. We have built a centralized (although geographically disparate) team of exceptionally talented sourcers who have a passion for candidate attraction and engagement. Simply put, we have created a team who are 100% focused on driving the most efficient ways of finding talent.
Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Sourcing Strategies: Lead the development and implementation of sourcing strategies to identify and attract top talent.
- Collaborate with Business Leaders: Collaborate with business leaders to understand their hiring needs and develop effective sourcing plans.
- Drive Best Practices: Continually improve, drive, and advocate for the adoption of best practices in sourcing and recruitment.
- Mentor and Coach: Mentor and coach a team of sourcers to achieve sourcing goals.
- Build Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates and stakeholders.
- Utilize Sourcing Tools: Utilize various sourcing tools and techniques to identify potential candidates.
- Deep Analysis and Reporting: Deep analysis and reporting on sourcing metrics to continuously improve processes.
- Drive Multi-Channel Sourcing: Drive a multi-channel sourcing approach, which includes direct sourcing, referrals, talent pooling, and recruitment marketing leveraging multiple tools and approaches to drive success.
Qualifications
- Extensive Talent Acquisition Experience: Extensive talent acquisition experience (e.g., recruiting, sourcing), HR experience, or industry experience related to role.
- Education and Experience: OR Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Liberal Arts, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field AND talent acquisition experience (e.g., recruiting, sourcing), HR experience, or industry experience related to role.
Additional Qualifications
- Proven Sourcing Experience: Proven experience in sourcing through a dedicated sourcer or recruiting role.
- Operational and Project Management: Strong operational, project management, and resource planning capabilities.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Data Analysis and Problem-Solving: Demonstrating expert-level understanding in using sourcing tools and techniques. Highly proficient in data analysis and problem-solving.
