Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving commercial growth at our assigned customer base in Spain. This will involve developing and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, identifying new business opportunities, and negotiating contracts and pricing agreements. You will also work closely with our internal teams, including Product Management, Technical and Innovation, and Supply Chain Management, to ensure seamless execution of commercial goals.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape in Spain and identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including medium-large molders and OEMs in the automotive sector.
  3. Develop and execute commercial plans to drive revenue growth and profitability at our assigned customer base.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective execution of commercial goals and objectives.
  5. Provide input for Sales Planning and contribute to the development of business strategies.
  6. Participate in marketing communication activities, such as attending industry events and conferences.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • BSc/MSc in Plastics or Mechanical Engineering
  • Background in the plastics industry, preferably in engineering specialties, with at least 3 years of experience in commercial or technical marketing roles in the automotive sector
  • Expertise in application development, plastics product knowledge, and troubleshooting
  • Proven ability to build strong business relationships with customers
  • Ambition and drive for commercial responsibility and accountability
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in Spanish and English
