Job SummaryWe are looking for a Brand Manager to oversee brand plans, portfolio, and product management within the Jumbo Group. This role involves being responsible for multiple brands across various markets, launching new products, adapting existing ones, and redesigning packaging. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the market and consumers, and will work closely with various teams to develop and execute both short-term and long-term strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Market Localization: Focus on Group categories Science and Learning, including market localization to ensure our products meet the needs of customers worldwide.
- Market and Consumer Insights: Gain a full understanding of the market and consumer preferences to inform our product development and marketing strategies.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute long-term (3-year) and short-term (1-year) brand and product strategies, implementing brand strategy plans across all markets.
- Sales Performance: Proactively manage and monitor sales performance, adjusting as needed, and collaborating with trade marketing, product development, innovation, and local marketing and sales teams.
- Product and Quality Improvement: Continuously initiate improvements in product quality and diversification of product assortment to meet customer needs.
- Briefings: Prepare and coordinate briefings for product development, packaging artwork, user manuals, and brand-related content.
- Training: Conduct product training sessions to ensure our products are used effectively by customers.
- Research: Support and brief qualitative and quantitative research initiatives for brands and products.
- Education: University degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years in a similar role, with experience managing multiple projects with deadlines.
- Skills: Affinity with Jumbo Group products, knowledge of the toy market, and ability to travel to Manchester quarterly.
