Key Responsibilities- Undertake business analysis of all solutions, collaborating with internal and external technology and business experts to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Lead and oversee the delivery of business analysis across all areas of IT, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and formalize the business analysis function, defining methodologies, establishing standards and performance metrics, and training and mentoring the wider team.
- Conduct capability and capacity assessments for Business Analysis, evaluating managed service options to meet demand.
- Contribute to the development and management of the IT strategy, architecture, roadmap, and policies/standards.
- Ensure the quality, accuracy, and integrity of all business analysis artifacts, such as process maps, requirements templates, and data flow diagrams.
- Support supplier selection, business engagement, and project implementation teams in providing insight and information for evaluating proposals and developing business cases for new technology investments.
- Collaborate with business partnership, architecture, implementation, and service delivery teams to define the scope of technical projects, identifying and defining goals, risks, issues, and resource requirements.
- Provide process and technical consultancy for application and infrastructure requirements, ensuring consistency of approach and adherence to technical design standards.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the IT strategy, architecture, and roadmap, championing the department, its members, and its relationships across the IT and business.
- BA Accreditation (IIBA CCBA, CBAP, or other)
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Proven track record of business analysis
- Extensive technical experience of producing process maps, analyses, solution definitions, and analyses
- Experience of working as part of multi-skilled technical teams through the project life cycle, working successfully with infrastructure teams and 3rd-party service providers
- Understanding and experience of project management methodologies and frameworks and change management processes
- Relevant experience of international programs and projects
- Experience of managing product selection
- Extensive technical expertise relating to system technology and data flows
