Senior Business Analyst Job Description

Aon is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our Operational Management team in Madrid. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and monitoring projects in all phases, from requirements gathering to implementation and deployment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and monitor projects in all phases, including requirements gathering, functional analysis, technical analysis, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Develop business models end-to-end, including front, back, and auxiliary channels in B2C and B2B2C markets.
  • Gather requirements through interviews, meetings, document analysis, business process descriptions, and use cases.
  • Analyze and document business requirements and translate them into functional and design specifications.
  • Communicate with stakeholders, customers, and suppliers to ensure project development and execution.
  • Define project portfolio priorities based on business needs and execute project setup in corporate tools.
  • Monitor business performance, ensure budget compliance, and generate reports.
  • Support teams with project training, case resolution, and alignment of multinational strategies with local business units.
  • Ensure project compliance with legal aspects and internal regulations.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Computer Engineering or similar.
  • At least 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst/Project Manager.
  • Previous experience in insurance companies or related sectors is mandatory.
  • Extensive functional and business knowledge of the insurance sector and its products.
  • Experience managing technology project development service providers.
  • Advanced level of English (at least C1 level).
