Job Summary

We are seeking a highly driven and entrepreneurial Business Development Executive to join our Amazon Shipping team in Spain. As a key member of our Business Development team, you will be responsible for developing a strong pipeline of large companies in Spain, identifying opportunities, negotiating with external companies, and closing sales. You will also be responsible for collecting market segment and customer insights to improve our product and delight our Amazon customers.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a new team in the Amazon Shipping business. You will be part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment, working closely with different teams, including Marketing, Customer Programs, Operations, Legal, and more. You will have the opportunity to establish top-level relationships with customers, assess their needs, and work to find the best solutions for them.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership: Be part of our organization's leadership team and help implement our overall strategy and direction.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong top-level relationships with potential future strategic customers.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with operations, product, and tech leaders to manage the program and build a product that fits the needs of our customers.
  • Dive Deep: Measure performance, identify gaps and opportunities, and lead the team to address them.
  • Business Development: Bring new customers to Amazon, develop the volume of shipping packages, ensure good conversion rates, and do it with profitability in mind.

Requirements

  • Experience: In business development, sales, and account management.
  • Skills: Strong ownership, excellent communication skills, ability to prioritize and deliver results, and proficiency in Spanish and English.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or MBA.
  • Industry Experience: In the B2C logistics industry.
  • Technical Skills: Expert use of MS Office Suite, CRM, sales and marketing automation tools, eLearning tools, and experience working with databases (SQL, Amazon Redshift).
