Click&Boat is the leading European boat rental platform, making boating accessible around the world. Our marketplace provides private and professional boat owners with additional income from boat rentals.

We have grown substantially since our conception in 2013, acquiring 3 companies in 3 different European countries (Spain, Germany, and France) in the last 4 years. Our growth has been powered by a major equity fund and the world's largest boating marketplace.

We are open for business in more than 50 countries and 600 destinations, with a diverse team of 200 employees from 20 different countries. Our headquarters are based in Paris on a barge moored on the Seine River, and we also have a second office of 100 people based in Barcelona.

Job Overview

As a Lead Account Manager, you will work in Barcelona and integrate into the Supply team, a business unit composed of 10 people, strengthened by seasonal employees during summer, and organized by market.

You will report to Christopher, Head of Account Management, and work closely with colleagues in charge of international markets, as well as the Sales, Customer Care, and Finance Operations Teams.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Team Leadership: Build and manage a high-performing team of account managers, responsible for recruitment, initial training, and ongoing development of team members.
  2. Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with boat owners and partners, acting as a trusted advisor to help them optimize their listings.
  3. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve account management processes within the team, implementing best practices that increase efficiency, scalability, and client satisfaction.
  4. Product Expertise: Ensure that your team is well-versed in the company's products and services, facilitating ongoing learning so that account managers can effectively advise clients and highlight the value of our offerings.

Requirements

  1. You have at least 3 years of experience in the commercial sector (sales, account management, etc.), preferably within a fast-growing startup.
  2. You have at least 1 year of experience managing a small team (2 to 5 people), including recruitment, training, performance tracking, and skill development.
  3. Expertise: You are considered an expert in operations management.
  4. Work Ethic: You demonstrate impeccable work ethics and are ready to fully commit.
  5. Analytical Skills: You possess analytical knowledge that allows you to support your ideas.
  6. Curiosity and Commitment: You are curious and dedicated to satisfying your clients.
