Job Title: Delivery Manager UK

Telefonica S.A. is seeking a highly skilled Delivery Manager to lead the Open Gateway project in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful deployment of APIs, Services, and Tools designed by our Product Management team in the production environments of our Operating Businesses (OBs).

About the Role

The main goal of this position is to transform the core of Telefonica and the whole Telco industry by making strategy a reality. You will work closely with our global teams to bring Open Gateway to the UK, build the local vision, and monitor the success of our APIs/Services. Your responsibilities will include defining the local vision of the Open Gateway project, managing legal, privacy, security, and billing tracks, and implementing the Open Gateway Delivery Process in an assigned OB.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bring Open Gateway to the UK and build the local vision
  • Monitor and measure the success of our APIs/Services and define processes to deliver the local roadmap
  • Define the local vision of the Open Gateway project with local areas and identify risks and dependencies
  • Manage legal, privacy, security, and billing tracks
  • Implement the Open Gateway Delivery Process in an assigned OB
  • Support the Engineering and Operations areas of the OB
  • Communicate project information to stakeholders
  • Align and coordinate between multiple local units
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with +2 years of experience in managing projects, preferably involving several countries and global units. You should have a strong network of Telefónica stakeholders, deep knowledge of the way Telefonica operates, and the ability to communicate clearly with management. Fluency in Spanish and English is required, and Portuguese or German is a plus.
