About the Position

The Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) is seeking a highly skilled Research Engineer to work on FPGA resilience and energy efficiency for the EuroEXA project. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for characterizing the resilience and energy efficiency of FPGAs and developing mechanisms to increase energy efficiency and resilience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Characterize FPGA resilience and energy efficiency
  • Develop mechanisms at architecture and runtime levels to increase FPGA resilience and energy efficiency
  • Write high-quality technical reports and papers
Requirements
  • Bachelor/Master of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science
  • 24 or more months experience in a similar position
  • In-depth knowledge of FPGAs
  • Previous experience working with energy-efficiency and resilience
  • Experience with task-based programming models such as OmpSs a plus
