We are seeking a highly skilled Research Data Engineer to join our team at Importante Empresa. As a key member of our Life Sciences Department, you will play a crucial role in establishing a new team focused on Health Data Research.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement data processing pipelines to support our research initiatives.
- Develop and maintain data models, ensuring standardization and interoperability with external APIs.
- Collaborate with our team to integrate our developments with external systems, ensuring seamless data exchange.
- Develop and test microservices, ensuring high-quality data and optimal performance.
- Monitor and analyze data metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing process enhancements.
- Oversee the activities of junior team members, ensuring alignment with business objectives and vision.
- Document and publish data and software under FAIR standards.
Requirements
- MSc in Computer Science, Data Science, or Bioinformatics.
- Experience in data engineering methodologies, with a strong focus on data quality and FAIR data principles.
- Proficiency in programming languages, including SQL and Python.
- Experience with container development using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
