About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Labour Relations and HR Administrative professional to join our team at Ferrer. As the Head of Labour Relations and HR Admin, you will play a critical role in managing and supervising all matters related to labour relations and payroll, as well as HR administrative processes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the payroll team to ensure an efficient and accurate payroll process, collaborating closely with the external payroll provider.
  2. Develop and maintain a comprehensive labour relations strategy that promotes collaboration and effective communication between management, employees, and Employee Representatives.
  3. Negotiate fair and beneficial labour agreements, collective contracts, and labour clauses with unions or worker organisations.
  4. Facilitate the effective resolution of labour disputes through negotiation and mediation, maintaining a focus on conciliation and mutual understanding.
  5. Provide advice and guidance to management and line managers on labour relations matters, including conflict resolution and strategic decision-making.
  6. Participate in the investigation and resolution of issues related to workplace harassment, discrimination, and employee complaints.
  7. Work closely with the human resources team at production centers.
  8. Responsible for HR Data Management and Analytics to ensure robust data sources and provide insights to support strategic planning and data-driven decisions.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  1. A Bachelor's degree in law or Labour Relations.
  2. HR Master's or Postgraduate degree valuable.
  3. Solid work experience of at least 10 years in labour relations management in an industrial environment, with international experience desirable.
  4. Proven experience in leading teams.
  5. Extensive knowledge of current labour laws and labour relations practices.
  6. Fluent communication skills in English.
  7. Good negotiation skills and conflict resolution ability.
  8. Excellent relationship-building, interpersonal, and organisational skills with high emotional intelligence.
  9. Strategic thinking and global view.
