We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Labour Relations and HR Administrative professional to join our team at Ferrer. As the Head of Labour Relations and HR Admin, you will play a critical role in managing and supervising all matters related to labour relations and payroll, as well as HR administrative processes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the payroll team to ensure an efficient and accurate payroll process, collaborating closely with the external payroll provider.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive labour relations strategy that promotes collaboration and effective communication between management, employees, and Employee Representatives.
- Negotiate fair and beneficial labour agreements, collective contracts, and labour clauses with unions or worker organisations.
- Facilitate the effective resolution of labour disputes through negotiation and mediation, maintaining a focus on conciliation and mutual understanding.
- Provide advice and guidance to management and line managers on labour relations matters, including conflict resolution and strategic decision-making.
- Participate in the investigation and resolution of issues related to workplace harassment, discrimination, and employee complaints.
- Work closely with the human resources team at production centers.
- Responsible for HR Data Management and Analytics to ensure robust data sources and provide insights to support strategic planning and data-driven decisions.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in law or Labour Relations.
- HR Master's or Postgraduate degree valuable.
- Solid work experience of at least 10 years in labour relations management in an industrial environment, with international experience desirable.
- Proven experience in leading teams.
- Extensive knowledge of current labour laws and labour relations practices.
- Fluent communication skills in English.
- Good negotiation skills and conflict resolution ability.
- Excellent relationship-building, interpersonal, and organisational skills with high emotional intelligence.
- Strategic thinking and global view.
