Job Summary

The HR Project Manager - Strategic Initiatives will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, from planning and scoping to delivery and evaluation of various HR-related projects. This includes mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, HR operations projects, and cross-functional programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define the scope, objectives, and deliverables of cross-functional HR projects, and develop detailed project plans and schedules.
  • Coordinate and manage project resources, including internal and external teams, vendors, and consultants.
  • Monitor and track project progress, performance, and risks, and report status and issues to the HR COE Leader and other key stakeholders.
  • Implement and maintain effective communication and collaboration among the project team and other departments.
  • Ensure project outcomes meet expectations and requirements of the HR COE Leader and other key stakeholders, and comply with relevant policies, standards, and regulations.
  • Evaluate project results and impact, and document lessons learned and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field.
  • At least three years of experience in managing HR or related projects, experience with HR technology projects preferred.
  • Professional certification in project management, such as PMP, is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge and skills in HR processes, practices, and systems.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Experience working internationally and in virtual teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, project management software, Smartsheet, and HR software.
