About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Market Development Manager to join our team at Trip.Com Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and expanding our portfolio of local hotel partners within the Spain and Portugal market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to introduce prospective high-potential partners to the Trip.Com proposition and facilitate the onboarding process.
  • Promote the Trip.Com brand name and its online reservation services to hotels.
  • Maintain best-rate parity, availability, and inventory of responsible hotels.
  • Advise hotels on regular marketing campaigns and promotions.
  • Conduct data research and analysis to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, with Catalan and/or Portuguese being a plus.
  • A minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience in the online travel agency (OTA) or e-commerce industry.
  • Revenue/Yield management skills.
  • A minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience as an Account Manager and/or in New Business.
  • Detail-oriented and fast learning capability.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Legally authorized to work in Spain.
