About the Role
The Kraft Heinz Company is seeking a skilled Culinary Sales Specialist to join our Foodservice team in Madrid. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with our most important customers, distributors, and prospects in the foodservice industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the commercial team to develop and execute sales strategies that drive business growth and meet annual sales targets.
- Stay up-to-date on culinary market trends and insights, and use this knowledge to inform our business strategy and product development.
- Develop and execute internal and external culinary sessions to present new products, demonstrate trends, and contribute menu and recipe ideas.
- Coordinate and lead customer visits at outlet level with the foodservice team to build strong relationships and drive sales growth.
- Collaborate with the Lead Chef to align on culinary strategy, portfolio needs, and product improvement based on business objectives.
- Develop menus and recipes for key customers and marketing materials that showcase our products and services.
- Organize quarterly training sessions for the Foodservice sales team to enhance their product and portfolio knowledge, as well as applications of our products.
- Interact directly with select customer accounts to build strong relationships and drive sales growth.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of work experience as a Chef, Culinary Manager, NPD Manager, or similar commercial position.
- Strong communication skills, including understanding, interpreting, informing, presenting, convincing, collaborating, and working in project teams.
- Chef, Culinary, or Food Science education/background.
- Winner mentality, taking ownership, and a strong work ethic.
- Knowledge of the foodservice channels (hotels, FSR, QSR, pubs, catering, industry, institutional).
- Knowledge and appreciation of our Foodservice portfolio categories (cold & warm sauces, beans).
- Ability to work under pressure, be flexible, and adapt quickly to new situations.
- Solution-oriented and flexible, with a creative mindset and ability to inspire and influence.
- Able to travel up to 70% of the time.
