Contract Manager, Iberia Cluster

**Job Summary**
The Contract Manager, Iberia Cluster, is a key role within Biogen, Inc. that requires a strong legal contract knowledge and a proactive hands-on approach. As a business partner to the Iberia Cluster, this individual will provide guidance to all functions on contract-related matters, ensuring seamless contract management processes.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare and review agreements, including clinical trial, healthcare-related agreements, commercial agreements, vendor and supplier agreements, and master agreements.
- Coordinate with assistants and other Biogen affiliate and international teams in the contract management process.
- Collaborate with the Legal Corporate function for contract local needs analysis, contract template creation, modification, and approval.
- Own contracts and addendums database, ensuring up-to-date information.
- Communicate with vendors and/or service providers to resolve contract issues.
- Act as a first point of contact for inquiries on contracts for commercial functions within the affiliate.
- Monitor and follow up on framework agreements signed and their renewal/extension/close-out.
- Deliver trainings to managers and employees on contract management.
- Support Corporate Administration activities, including Board of Directors, Shareholders meeting, and Power of Attorney.
- Provide guidance on contractual and legal-related activities within the Clinical Trials framework.
- Closely collaborate and support the Legal function on Iberia Cluster legal matters, contracts, and general corporate and pharmaceutical law.
- Closely collaborate and support the Compliance function on Iberia Cluster compliance and governance risk.
- Closely collaborate and support the Finance function in relation to procurement processes, vendors, and others related to the Iberia cluster activities.
- Lead Data privacy activities in the Iberia Cluster.
**Qualifications**
- Degree in Law.
- Fluent in English and Spanish; preferred fluent in Portuguese.
- 6+ years of experience as an attorney (law firm or in-house).
- Strong experience in Contracts.
