International Mobility Coordinator

Position Overview
IE Business School is recognized as a premier institution in the field of education, offering a diverse range of undergraduate and graduate programs delivered entirely in English. Our approach integrates various disciplines to enhance professional education.
The International Mobility department at IE Business School oversees the exchange initiatives for undergraduate students, managing both outgoing and incoming participants, and fostering relationships with over 220 prestigious partner universities globally. This role is situated within the vibrant environment of IE Business School.
As the International Mobility Coordinator, you will assist in the operational management of the department, serving as a vital contact point for students and partner institutions. Your responsibilities will encompass all administrative functions essential for the effective execution of exchange programs, as well as the creation and implementation of innovative initiatives. Given the department's collaborative nature, daily interaction and coordination with various bachelor programs and relevant units will be necessary. Additionally, involvement in activities associated with the Erasmus Program will be part of your duties.
The IM Coordinator will report directly to the leadership of the International Mobility department and the Vice-Provost of Global Academic Partnerships & Alliances.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Duties
The ideal candidate should thrive in a dynamic setting that demands multitasking and the ability to handle a substantial workload.
The selected individual should possess a passion for engaging with students and demonstrate strong teamwork capabilities. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support the department Director in the operational functions related to undergraduate exchange programs.
- Act as a liaison and primary contact for partner universities and various departments involved in the department's operations.
- Assist in organizing and launching annual International Mobility initiatives and related events (such as Welcome Week, International Mobility Fair, IM Day, etc.).
- Conduct informative sessions for outgoing exchange students at various stages of their journey.
- Provide support to outgoing exchange students throughout their nomination and application processes.
- Aid the team with all administrative responsibilities associated with the Erasmus Program.
- Manage a high volume of email correspondence, ensuring timely responses to inquiries from outgoing exchange students and partner institutions.
- Maintain and update databases containing information on students and partners.
- Facilitate communication with internal and external stakeholders (including outgoing students, partner universities, bachelor programs, and other departments).
- Design and support additional activities as assigned.
Candidate Qualifications
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree.
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish, with excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
- Proven track record of exceptional customer service, organizational skills, and a proactive attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Willingness to learn, adaptability to change, open-mindedness, and strong collaboration skills.
- A keen interest in working within a multicultural environment.
- Previous experience in project coordination, higher education, or learning management systems is advantageous.
