About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Development Director to oversee an experienced group of Senior Development Managers and Coordinators, managing all aspects of real estate development within our portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years in a leadership role and a proven track record of developing mixed-use residential/commercial projects and master plan communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with senior leaders to ensure department goals align to our overall strategic imperatives.
- Participate with the executive team in identifying and developing the strategic direction of the development division.
- Plan for team growth aligned to portfolio growth strategy.
- Assist senior leaders with acquisition and investment initiatives as required.
- Refine and develop operational processes and systems to enhance workflow for the development team and collaboration with other departments within Reconocida Empresa.
- Take a leadership role in establishing standards, playbooks, and similar best practice guides for our product.
- Monitor and course correct key development metrics influencing the financial health of our development projects throughout the development process.
- Actively support new projects as our pipeline grows and lead capacity planning for the development team.
- Work with team members to identify project obstacles and be prepared to delve deeper into project activities when required.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders for all development activities, particularly consultants and city officials.
- Offer guidance and support throughout the development process, ensuring that projects are delivered on schedule, on budget, and maintain the vision set at the outset for the project.
- Identify conflicts and demonstrate and teach solid conflict resolution methods when necessary.
