Job Title: Global Business Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Business Development Specialist to join our team at Hitachi Energy Ltd. This role will be responsible for developing and executing global business development strategies to drive growth and revenue for our company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain global mapping of customers and markets for our products
  • Understand and articulate regional and country regulatory environments
  • Interface with cross-functional teams to ensure harmonized account plans
  • Support the creation of segment-specific marketing collateral
  • Understand and articulate competitor activity in the market segment
  • Challenge market size and understanding in top 20 global markets
  • Identify current and future key customers and develop strategies to serve them
  • Design and develop business development strategies for defined product lines
  • Define a strategic business development roadmap for the segment
  • Ensure consistent sales processes for global multi-site offers
  • Develop strategic pricing for products in cooperation with cross-functional teams
Requirements:
  • Engineering degree or business administration
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in product marketing and sales
  • Strong experience in global business with cross-cultural, legal, and contractual implications
  • Demonstrable experience in dealing with customer specifications and requirements
  • Successful track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of the marketplace
  • Understanding of demand and supply-side needs and dynamics
  • Intercultural sensitivity and ability to lead
  • Customer-oriented with advanced communication skills
  • Result-oriented for profitable growth
  • Fluent in English
