In our Global Subsidiary Governance Services (GSGS) team, you will work closely with multinational corporations, private clients, and other stakeholders to provide critical support in meeting regulatory and compliance requirements.
Your Role
As a KYC Officer, you will play a vital role in preparing client KYC and CDD files for final review by the Head of AML.
You will request appropriate KYC/CDD documentation from Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBO) in a timely manner.
Maintain an overview of complete and incomplete KYC/CDD records and ensure action is taken to complete all CDD records.
Timely follow up on pending KYC/CDD requests, adhering to CCT escalation and follow-up procedures.
Manage the maintenance and safekeeping of KYC/CDD documents and files.
Liaise with business teams daily, responding to client AML queries.
Ensure queries and emails are responded to in a timely and accurate manner.
Clear and/or investigate/verify possible matches generated by the scanning application used by Citco to scan their client base against lists of undesirable persons.
Maintain a database of High-Risk clients and ensure appropriate actions are taken regarding these.
Stay informed about present and future legislation and regulatory developments in the jurisdiction.
Assist with client-specific KYC/CDD reviews.
Ensure AML applications are consistent with the Company's AML policy and risk assessment.
Act as an escalation point for clients and Citco employees on all AML/CDD queries.
Provide information to management regarding AML/CDD issues arising.
Maintain delivery of a high-quality service level to clients and other Citco departments, ensuring all queries are dealt with professionally and escalating where necessary.
Manage specific projects that may arise from time to time.
About You:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in civil law/corporate law or a related discipline, along with 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry.
Understanding of local KYC/AML framework and knowledge of recent legislative developments (e.g., AMLD4, etc.) is a significant advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Able to work efficiently under pressure.
Strong research, analytical, and reporting skills.
Excellent communication skills, and fluency in English (French is an advantage)."}
