Job Title: Compliance Specialist - Barcelona

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Specialist to join our team in Barcelona. As a key member of our compliance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's compliance with economic sanctions, anti-money laundering (AML), anti-boycott, and other relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough counterparty due diligence reviews, including fact-gathering, ultimate beneficial ownership research, compliance screenings, and sanctions hits identification.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of counterparty screenings and case files.
  • Keep current on changes to economic sanctions, anti-corruption, AML, anti-boycott, and other compliance-related laws and regulations.
  • Assist with updates to Bunge compliance guidance policies and memoranda to local legal counsel.
  • Develop checklists for compliance-related procedures and screening requirements.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in a compliance-focused role, specifically relevant to compliance controls, anti-corruption, anti-bribery, economic sanctions, export controls, anti-boycott, or regulatory work.
  • Bachelor or Master Degree from an accredited school required, or bachelor degree plus experience in sanctions compliance screening and due diligence.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within the organization.
  • Strong business partnering skills and organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
