Indirect Tax Specialist

Join Bunge Iberica SA as an Indirect Tax Specialist and take on a challenging role that requires expertise in VAT compliance and financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of VAT declarations and returns for EU VAT registration entities.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues in the reconciliation and VAT compliance process.
  • Collaborate with the cash team to ensure accurate and timely payments.
  • Perform VAT reconciliations and work with the Accounts Payable team to ensure correct VAT treatment of transactions.
  • Provide training to internal departments on VAT knowledge and compliance.
  • Advise on ad hoc VAT issues and support the Indirect Tax Team with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Support local Tax managers in handling external VAT Audits and queries.
  • Participate in projects to improve the VAT compliance process.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience as an Indirect Tax Specialist.
  • 3+ years of professional practice in multinational companies.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English; German is a plus.
  • Significant experience in accounting and knowledge of European VAT rules and regulations.
  • Numerical and analytical skills, as well as system knowledge (SAP, SAP S/4 HANA).
