Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Compliance and Risk Officer to join our team. This role reports directly to the General Counsel for Europe, with direct contact to the executive committee and governing body.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation, and oversight of our compliance program, ensuring alignment with local, national, and international regulations and guidelines in the fintech sector.
- Create, review, and update policies and procedures to mitigate risk and ensure compliance across all aspects of our business.
- Oversight and development of our risk management framework and internal control system.
- Identify and assess regulatory, operational, financial, reputational, and legal risks of our business, advising on their management and minimization.
- Draft, maintain, and develop our risk registers.
- Monitor and report on our risks.
- Establish, manage, and coordinate the Internal Audit Committee and the Internal Control Committee in the company, as well as any other recommended or required bodies.
- Lead initiatives to promote a culture of risk awareness and compliance throughout the organization, including training programs for employees.
- Stay up to date with professional, legal, and best practice developments in payments services, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
Requirements
- Law graduate.
- 5+ years of experience in compliance and risk in the financial sector (desirable in the payments sector).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- English: Full professional competence (minimum C1).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
