Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Data Platform team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for translating business and report requirements into data, rules, and logic to provide input to our Data Engineers. This requires a deep understanding of business data in various source systems and how it can be used for our Data Platform.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Analyze existing and new data from Atradius systems to integrate and ingest into the Data Platform.
  2. Create data mappings for data requirements for the Data Platform.
  3. Develop data descriptions of required data.
  4. Understand data links between different systems.
  5. Maintain and create functional and business data quality rules.
  6. Provide guidance and participate in meetings with business and technical colleagues.
  7. Ensure clarity of requirements and represent analysis for the Data Platform team.

Requirements

  1. Experience as a data analyst in middle to large companies.
  2. 5 years of work experience.
  3. Thorough understanding of requirements and data management.
  4. Experience in business analysis activities.
  5. Strong SQL and written skills to express complex data analysis to multiple stakeholders.
  6. Develop and maintain good business domain knowledge.
  7. Ensure accurate, consistent, and reliable data.
  8. Strong analytical and conceptual skills to evaluate information from multiple sources.
  9. Ability to deal with details thoroughly, analytically, and precisely without losing the big picture.
  10. Ability to remove unneeded complexity without oversimplification.
  11. Keenness to keep up with current trends, changing tools, techniques, and business needs.
  12. Ability to define deliverables, estimate those, and deliver on time.
  13. Great communication skills (written and verbal), stakeholder management, political sensitivity.
  14. Effective business function and IT data documentation skills.
  15. Strong customer focus and demonstrated ability to work in geographically dispersed teams.
  16. Ability to work in a team environment and efficiently under pressure.
