Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team as an Asset Owner. As an Asset Owner, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and support of our Data Warehouse built on Oracle databases, with a Business Intelligence layer using SAP Business Objects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from problem statement to solution implementation.
  • Perform impact assessments due to changes in the technical stack.
  • Have detailed knowledge and understanding of the entire end-to-end process flow.
  • Have cross-functional knowledge with upstream and downstream applications.
  • Understand impacts to system changes (both in the DWH and upstream systems) and mitigation of unexpected impacts.
  • Provide automation solutions and options to ensure business continuity.
  • Understand of the business process and how these processes relate to the MI systems.
  • Manage workflow (planning) and expectations of Business partners.
  • Provide guidance and be an active participant in meetings with business and technical colleagues.

Requirements

  • Experience as an MI analyst in middle to large companies > 5 years of work experience.
  • A proactive mindset is required, with strong problem-solving and analysis skills.
  • Process flow design
  • A thorough understanding of general MI principles, such as Star Schema design
  • Strong Analysis background
  • Experience with Oracle Databases and Oracle PL/SQL
  • Experience with reporting tools SAP Business Objects and PowerBI
  • Experience with Informatica
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills used to evaluate information gathered from multiple sources.
  • Ability to deal with details thoroughly, analytically, and precisely without losing the big picture/helicopter view.
  • Ability to remove unneeded complexity without oversimplification.
  • A keenness to keep up with current trends, changing tools, techniques, and business needs.
  • Ability to define deliverables, estimate those, and deliver on time.
