Geotechnical Design Specialist

About the Role:
Ferrovial Agroman Sa is seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our technical office, you will be responsible for supporting international projects in their different stages, providing technical assistance in geotechnical works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee geotechnical field explorations and soil remediation programs.
- Manage both internal and external teams of experts.
- Perform visits to the working site to oversee geotechnical works and construction activities.
- Review geotechnical information of different projects during the bidding stage, providing technical assistance.
- Prepare geotechnical reports about building, roads, and railway projects.
- Perform soil-structure analysis, assisting in the design of shallow and deep foundations, tunnels, and earth retaining structures.
- Expertise in Plaxis 2D software, both in modeling and in interpretation.
- Expertise in commercial geotechnical software packages (Rocs-cience, Ensoft, Geo-Studio, etc).
Requirements:
- Civil Engineering or similar degree.
- 5 to 10 years' experience in underground works.
- High English level.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated analytical skills.
- Willingness to travel and relocate.
