Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance on international projects, with a focus on geotechnical works and construction activities.
Key Responsibilities- Project Planning and Execution
Develop and implement geotechnical field exploration plans, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
Team ManagementLead and manage internal and external teams of experts, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
Site Visits and OversightConduct regular site visits to oversee geotechnical works and construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and regulations.
Technical AssistanceProvide technical assistance on geotechnical information during the bidding stage, ensuring accurate and reliable data.
Reporting and AnalysisPrepare comprehensive geotechnical reports on building, roads, and railway projects, including soil-structure analysis and recommendations.
Software ExpertiseUtilize commercial geotechnical software packages, including Plaxis 2D, to model and interpret geotechnical data.
Requirements- Education and Experience
Civil Engineering or similar degree, with 5-10 years of experience in underground works.
Language SkillsHigh English language proficiency, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Analytical and Problem-Solving SkillsDemonstrated analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex geotechnical data and provide recommendations.
Travel and RelocationWillingness to travel and relocate for international projects.
