We are seeking a highly skilled Underground Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at Sin nombre. As a key member of our international projects team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance in geotechnical works, including planning and overseeing geotechnical field explorations and soil remediation programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement geotechnical strategies for underground projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Manage and coordinate internal and external teams of experts to deliver geotechnical services.
- Conduct site visits to oversee geotechnical works and construction activities, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
- Provide technical assistance during the bidding stage, reviewing geotechnical information and providing recommendations.
- Prepare comprehensive geotechnical reports for building, roads, and railway projects, including soil-structure analysis and design recommendations.
Requirements
- Civil Engineering or related field degree.
- 5-10 years of experience in underground works, with a strong background in geotechnical engineering.
- Excellent English language skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
- Ability to travel and relocate for international projects.
