The European Transportation division at Amazon is tasked with ensuring the seamless connectivity of our transportation network throughout Europe, facilitating the delivery of billions of packages annually.

We engage with various internal teams, including Transportation Design, Supply Chain, and Technology, to guarantee efficient and dependable delivery to our customers.

In the realm of Transportation Network Configuration Quality and Analytics, we are seeking a TNC Functional Analyst.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the configuration of Amazon's network, ensuring adherence to established standards.
  • Collaborate with Transportation teams, Product Managers, and Software Development Engineers to design, enhance, and streamline processes, thereby improving the purchasing experience for Amazon customers.
  • Address network-related issues by implementing immediate solutions and developing long-term strategies for resolution.
  • Evaluate the potential impact of disruptions within the system and create preventative measures or expedite resolution strategies.
  • Identify and document necessary system enhancements aimed at elevating customer experience.
  • Work closely with technical teams to drive improvements in systems and processes.
  • Engage with operational stakeholders to align expectations and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Document quality engineering processes, workflows, and best practices to promote knowledge sharing and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base.
  • Diagnose and resolve operational challenges, conduct thorough root cause analyses, and respond to enhancement suggestions.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation, providing support to operational teams, which may require availability outside of standard business hours as per the on-call coverage plan.

A Day in the Life:

This role encompasses both tactical and strategic responsibilities, allowing you to lead initiatives that may be ambiguous in nature.

You will collaborate daily with stakeholders across various organizations to address system and network challenges with both immediate and long-term solutions.

By working alongside your team and internal partners, you will innovate and implement system and process enhancements that deliver new business value, improve customer experience, and boost team productivity, speed, and quality.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking with a propensity for data-driven decision-making and prioritization.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects while delivering timely and accurate results.
  • Background in Program or Project Management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Transportation, or a related technical field.
  • Experience in Supply Chain management.
  • Familiarity with Amazon's logistics network.
  • Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Experience in continuous improvement processes.
