About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Transportation Analyst - E2E Planning and Optimization to join our team at Amazon Road Transport Spain, S.L.U. in Spain.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Implement Transportation Strategies: Plan and shape EU AMXL transportation strategy to optimize network performance and improve supply chain efficiency.
  2. Drive Network Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive network optimization through stakeholder management and cross-team collaboration.
  3. Improve Supply Chain Efficiency: Use mathematical modeling and data analytics to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
  4. Analyze Transportation Performance: Carry out deviation analysis on transportation performance and system behavior to identify improvement opportunities.
  5. Develop and Maintain Key Performance Metrics: Adapt, build, and maintain key performance metrics to measure transportation performance and identify areas for improvement.
  6. Initiate and Manage Transportation Improvement Projects: Partner with software teams to initiate and manage transportation improvement projects and communicate with senior management.
  7. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work across the EU and partner with the NA in a cross-functional environment to ensure smooth and efficient flow of accurate information.
Requirements
  1. Experience in Program or Project Management: Proven experience in program or project management, with a focus on transportation and logistics.
  2. Experience in Supply Chain: Experience in supply chain management, with a focus on transportation and logistics.
  3. Experience with Data and Metrics: Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements in transportation and logistics.
  4. Experience in Leading Process Improvements: Proven experience in leading process improvements and implementing changes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Master's Degree or MBA: Master's degree or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design, or related field.
