Amazon Road Transport Spain, S.L.U. is on the lookout for a Senior Transportation Analyst - E2E Planning and Optimization to become a vital part of our AMXL team.

The EU AMXL team is tasked with overseeing the comprehensive Heavy/Bulky logistics journey, ensuring seamless fulfillment, supply chain management, and transportation operations across Europe.

The Senior Transportation Analyst - E2E Planning and Optimization will be a key player in enhancing operational efficiency through strong analytical capabilities and interpersonal skills.

The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Fulfillment Center Operations, Supply Chain, Delivery Stations, and Senior Management.

This position is fundamentally analytical and data-centric, where every business opportunity and decision is grounded in factual data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and refine the EU AMXL transportation strategy.
  • Enhance network efficiency through stakeholder engagement and team collaboration.
  • Boost supply chain performance via mathematical modeling and data analysis.
  • Conduct performance deviation assessments and analyze system behaviors.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators, perform root-cause analyses on discrepancies, and pinpoint areas for improvement.
  • Initiate and oversee transportation enhancement projects while liaising with senior management.
  • Collaborate with software teams to standardize reporting and improve systems.
  • Work across the EU and partner with North America in a cross-functional capacity, ensuring a robust communication process for the efficient flow of accurate information.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in program or project management.
  • Background in supply chain management.
  • Ability to utilize data and metrics to identify and drive improvements.
  • Experience in owning program strategy, overseeing end-to-end delivery, and presenting results to senior leadership.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's degree or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design, or a related field.
  • Experience in leading process improvement initiatives.
