Role Overview: The European Transportation team at Amazon is tasked with ensuring seamless connectivity within our transportation network across Europe, facilitating the delivery of billions of packages annually.

We engage with various internal departments (such as Transportation Design, Supply Chain, External Fulfillment, and Technology) to guarantee prompt and dependable customer deliveries while minimizing costs.

Position Summary: Within the Transportation Network Configuration Quality team, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled program manager to enhance troubleshooting efforts for any issues that may impact the Amazon Europe network.

As an integral member of our team, you will have the chance to demonstrate your technical expertise, practical skills, and leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the configuration of the Amazon network, maintaining the highest quality standards.
  • Collaborate with Transportation teams, Product Managers, and Software Development Engineers to design, refine, and enhance processes that improve the purchasing experience for Amazon customers.
  • Address network issues by implementing immediate solutions and developing long-term strategies to resolve them.
  • Identify and document necessary system enhancements aimed at improving customer experience.
  • Work with technical teams to drive improvements in systems and processes.
  • Engage with operational stakeholders to enhance their customer service experience.
  • Create documentation for quality engineering processes, workflows, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base.
  • Analyze and resolve operational challenges, conduct thorough root cause analyses, and respond to suggestions for improvements.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation, providing support to operational teams.

A Day in the Life: This role encompasses both tactical and strategic responsibilities, allowing you to lead new initiatives.

You will collaborate daily with stakeholders across various organizations to address system and network challenges with both immediate and long-term solutions.

By working closely with your team and internal partners, you will innovate and implement system and process enhancements that deliver new business value, improve customer experience, and boost team productivity, speed, and quality.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in stakeholder management.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Excel.
  • Analytical mindset for decision-making and prioritization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Transportation, or a related technical field with experience in Supply Chain.
  • Knowledge of logistics networks.
  • Experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Background in continuous improvement processes.
  • Experience in Quality Assurance is advantageous, particularly in leading the design, implementation, and delivery of testing solutions.
