Role Overview
The European Transportation team at Amazon oversees the connectivity of our transportation network throughout Europe, facilitating the delivery of billions of packages annually.

We work in conjunction with various internal departments (such as Transportation Design, Supply Chain, External Fulfillment, and Technology) to guarantee prompt and dependable delivery for our customers at the lowest possible cost.

Position Summary
Within the Transportation Network Configuration Quality team, we are seeking a talented and driven program manager to enhance our troubleshooting capabilities regarding any potential issues that may impact the Amazon Europe network.

As an integral member of our team, you will have the chance to demonstrate your technical expertise, practical skills, and leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the configuration of the Amazon network, maintaining the highest standards.
  • Collaborate with Transportation teams, Product Managers, and Software Development Engineers to design, enhance, and refine processes that improve the purchasing experience for Amazon customers.
  • Address network issues by providing immediate solutions and developing long-term strategies to resolve them.
  • Identify and document necessary system improvements aimed at enhancing customer experience.
  • Engage with technical teams to drive advancements in systems and processes.
  • Work with operational stakeholders to enhance their customer experience.
  • Document quality engineering processes, workflows, and best practices to ensure effective knowledge sharing and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base.
  • Diagnose and resolve operational challenges, conduct thorough root cause analyses, and respond to enhancement suggestions.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation, offering support to operational teams.

A Day in the Life
This role encompasses both tactical and strategic responsibilities, allowing you to lead new initiatives.

You will collaborate daily with stakeholders across various organizations to address system and network challenges with both immediate and long-term solutions.

In partnership with your team and internal collaborators, you will innovate and implement system and process enhancements that deliver new business value, improve customer experience, and boost team productivity, speed, and quality.

Basic Qualifications

  • Proven experience in stakeholder management.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and Excel.
  • Analytical mindset for decision-making and prioritization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Transportation, or a related technical field.
  • Knowledge of logistics networks.
  • Experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Background in continuous improvement processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in Quality Assurance, with the ability to lead the design, implementation, and delivery of testing solutions.
