The Turbine Control division is a vital component of our Offshore Technology sector, which is central to our technological advancements. We are on the lookout for a Lead Engineer who will help us maintain our status as industry leaders.
Key Responsibilities
The Turbine Control team comprises over 50 skilled engineers located in various countries. Our focus is on delivering high-quality control solutions that enhance the energy output of both offshore and onshore wind turbines while ensuring the integrity and operational efficiency of the subsystems.
Your role will involve:
Taking overall technical responsibility for wind turbine control systems, including functionality, configuration, prototype validation, and certification. Collaborating with various departments to gather requirements and represent the Turbine Control area. Providing technical direction to projects and team members in the field of Turbine Control. Assisting in the planning of new technology development initiatives and maintaining technology roadmaps related to turbine control. Contributing to design manuals and processes that ensure the technical quality and feasibility of deliverables. Advising on patent issues, reviewing patents, and assessing internal applications. Engaging with the Chief Engineer community within the Loads and Control Systems module, representing the turbine control sector. Supporting multiple projects simultaneously and driving progress across various areas. Developing and maintaining partnerships with universities and research institutions.Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who are passionate about renewable energy and are eager to lead change. Ideal candidates will possess:
A relevant educational background, preferably at the M.Sc. level or higher in control engineering, wind power engineering, or electrical engineering. A minimum of 10 years of experience in the wind industry, specifically in turbine-level control solutions. Strong intercultural communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.What We Offer
