Cloud Presales Consultant

SoftwareOne is seeking a Cloud Presales Consultant to drive and co-own Hybrid Cloud Solutions sales and business development within their assigned region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with sales teams and clients to assess requirements, objectives, constraints, and SoftwareOne's offerings.
  • Utilize analytical skills to scope and size opportunities effectively.
  • Design customized solutions that align with client requirements and present these and necessary demos.
  • Define margins for proposed solutions in coordination with sales and delivery teams.
  • Draft clear and comprehensive statements of work (SOWs).
  • Establish and maintain a repository of solution collaterals, including case studies and presentations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Act as a subject matter expert during client interactions.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to sales teams throughout the sales cycle.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for cross-selling or upselling.
Requirements:
  • University degree preferred (in Information Technology or equivalent experience); Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years or equivalent experience selling products and services in cloud ecosystems.
  • Advanced-level Partner Sales and Technical Certifications required (Microsoft, Google, or AWS certification).
  • High level of English both written and spoken. English Proficiency certificate preferred.
Technical Skills:
  • Comprehensive understanding of major providers like AWS, Azure, GCP.
  • Proficiency in Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager.
  • Expertise in cloud networking concepts and hybrid solutions.
