The Content Strategy & Experience team in Customer Technical Success (CTS) at Autodesk is seeking a dynamic Technical Content Developer, AutoCAD to manage a catalog of product support content for AutoCAD.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify customer needs and develop audience-centric content plans for AutoCAD across the post-purchase journey.
- Create, edit, and direct new content creation and improvements to increase consumption and findability of AutoCAD support content through digital channels.
- Review existing AutoCAD content to identify gaps and requirements for further development.
- Ensure the right AutoCAD content is available to all users at the right time, by getting ahead of customer demand, de-duplication of efforts, and content reuse.
- Design and implement programs to match customer needs with appropriate content formats and distribution channels, ensuring positive, meaningful interactions with our products and services.
- Manage new products content integrations and products rebrand.
- Monitor technical content development initiatives, learn, and provide actionable recommendations for enhancing content effectiveness.
- Guide and train CTS staff on best practices for content creation and improvements, aiming for efficiency and quality.
- Represent CTS at industry events internally and externally.
- Build trust and authority across a network of peers, collaborators, and teammates through clarity, aligning on ideas and delivering on major outcomes.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in content strategy and Autodesk supported industries, and integrate relevant insights into the team and practice to foster a culture of innovation and knowledge sharing.
- 8+ years relevant work experience, especially in Content Management or Content Development.
- 5+ years in a customer-facing or product development role with AutoCAD.
- Understanding of content management, content design, technical writing.
- Experience designing omni-channel audience-centric content plans and implementing them, including audience analysis and managing the full end-to-end content lifecycle including writing and editing clear and concise technical content.
- Solid project management experience managing projects involving several teams from brainstorming to conclusion, with demonstrated ability to turn strategic plans into actionable tasks, bringing simplicity and order to complex projects, driving progress and continuous improvement.
- Analytical, solution-focused, and practical approach, consideration of goals and colleagues' priorities to achieve the right outcome for customers.
- Understanding of the needs from our customers and partners, and ability to translate these into impactful content strategies and solutions.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS), authoring tools, and other relevant software applications.
- Experience implementing search engines optimization (SEO) strategies an advantage.
- Experience with large language models (LLMs) an advantage.
- Ability to speak with impact, simplify complex concepts, and collaborate positively across different levels and geographies.
- Independent approach, proactiveness, and a learning and improvement mindset.
- University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
