Job Overview
The Content Strategy & Experience team in Customer Technical Success (CTS) at Autodesk is responsible for delivering high-quality product expertise to customers through impactful content experiences. We are seeking a dynamic Technical Content Developer, AutoCAD to manage a catalog of product support content for AutoCAD.
This role involves overseeing AutoCAD content development for customers and partners, designing integrated omni-channel audience-centric content plans, and collaborating across teams to improve support content experiences that drive customer success. The ideal candidate will contribute to our evolving product support strategy, ensuring customers realize the full value of our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teams to identify needs using analytics, customer feedback, and business objectives, and determine product support help and learn audience-centric omni-channel content plans for AutoCAD across the post-purchase journey.
- Create, edit, and direct new content creation and improvements to increase consumption and findability of AutoCAD support content through digital channels.
- Review existing AutoCAD content to identify gaps and requirements for further development.
- Ensure the right AutoCAD content is available to all users at the right time, by getting ahead of customers demand, de-duplication of efforts, and content reuse.
- Design and implement programs to match customer needs with appropriate content formats and distribution channels, ensuring positive, meaningful interactions with our products and services, while also enabling CTS to manage the full end-to-end content lifecycle.
- Manage new products content integrations and products rebrand.
- Monitor technical content development initiatives, learn, and provide actionable recommendations for enhancing content effectiveness.
- Guide and train CTS staff on best practices for content creation and improvements, aiming for efficiency and quality.
- Represent CTS at industry events internally and externally.
Requirements
- 8+ years relevant work experience, especially in Content Management or Content Development.
- 5+ years in a customer-facing or product development role with AutoCAD.
- Understanding of content management, content design, technical writing.
- Experience designing omni-channel audience-centric content plans and implementing them, including audience analysis and managing the full end-to-end content lifecycle including writing and editing clear and concise technical content.
- Solid project management experience managing projects involving several teams from brainstorming to conclusion, with demonstrated ability to turn strategic plans into actionable tasks.
- An analytical, solution-focused, and practical approach, consideration of goals and colleagues' priorities to achieve the right outcome for customers.
- Understanding the needs from our customers and partners, and translating these into impactful content strategies and solutions.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS), authoring tools, and other relevant software applications.
