About the JobWe are seeking a talented individual to join our Operations Department as a User Support specialist on AI projects. The successful candidate will be part of a leading supercomputing center in Europe, working on optimizing and adapting scientific application codes to new pre-exascale architectures and systems, focusing on AI applications and technologies.
The candidate will improve the performance of existing AI environments, enhancing serial efficiency and scalability, and assist developers with necessary code modifications. The funding for these actions comes from the European Union Recovery and Resilience Facility - Next Generation, within the framework of the General Invitation by the public business entity Red.Es to participate in the talent attraction and retention programs within Investment 4 of Component 19 of the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan.
Key Responsibilities- Optimize and adapt scientific application codes to new pre-exascale architectures and systems, focusing on AI applications and technologies.
- Improve the performance of existing AI environments, enhancing serial efficiency and scalability, and assist developers with necessary code modifications.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI, Linux systems, and high-performance computing. They will be passionate about technology and have excellent communication skills. The candidate will be part of a dynamic team and will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects.
