KWS SAAT SE is seeking a talented Product Development Manager to join our team in the Murcia Region, Spain. As a key member of our crop team, you will play a crucial role in developing new products and advancing our product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new product assortment for Product Market Combinations (PMCs) on local and country levels
  • Implement crop/PMC trial plans in line with global crop trial plans
  • Collaborate with local crop teams to provide input on crop strategy and market/customer intelligence
  • Support the development and maintenance of product profiles
  • Advise on and support introduction strategies
  • Ensure the implementation and alignment of trial calendars

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Quality trial plans, design, and execution
  • Product profiles defined
  • Preparation of elevation meetings
  • Successful introductions
  • Definition of growing protocols and growing concepts before commercial launching

Your Profile:

  • Minimum of a B.S. in Agronomy or Horticulture
  • 3+ years of experience in the vegetable seed industry (preferred)
  • General experience in product development
  • Fluent English (written and spoken), additional languages an advantage
  • Ability to think and act at different levels, prepared to put 'boots on the ground'
  • Analytical and result-oriented 'we make it happen' mentality
