About the Role

The Vice President of Human Resources will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the company's people strategy, ensuring that Hive Logistics has a high-performing team and a caring, supportive employer culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ownership of all people functions, including business partnering, people ops, office management, and talent acquisition
  • Leading a team of 5-10 members to shape and grow Hive exponentially
  • Driving collaboration, growth, and thriving of the team
  • Coordinating people efforts across teams based in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and the UK
  • Ensuring people strategy translates to each location while remaining compliant with local employment laws
Requirements
  • People Leadership Experience: Successful people leader (Head+ level) in a startup/scaleup, ideally for the stage Hive is going into now (Series B/C)
  • Team Leadership Experience: Responsible for a team and helped them grow, develop, and thrive through leadership
  • Strategic & Analytical Mindset: Analytical and strategic thinking skills to identify and execute on people initiatives
  • Problem-Solving Skills & Attention to Detail: Proactive and solution-oriented approach to anticipate challenges and address them effectively
  • Language Proficiency & Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills in English, and additional fluency in German, French, Italian, Spanish, or other European languages is advantageous
