Job Title: HR Business Partner

Hitachi Energy is seeking a highly skilled HR Business Partner to support the newly created Operational Center (OPC) Business in Madrid. As a key member of the global HR Business Partner team, you will play a crucial role in building and developing the OPC organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement HR strategies to support business objectives and drive organizational growth.
  • Oversee staffing processes and drive engagement actions to ensure full cohesion among local and global teams.
  • Implement HR processes, including workforce planning, succession planning, performance management, and other processes as applicable.
  • Work closely with operational and strategic stakeholders to drive culture, people, and organization initiatives.
  • Ensure strong labor and key stakeholder relationships, and provide support and suggestions on HR policies and processes to achieve long-term objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar role, preferably within the power and energy industry or another international company with a complex matrix organization.
  • Experience leading projects and implementing new procedures.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, labor relations, and legal regulations in Spain.
  • Strong understanding of talent acquisition, performance management, training and development, and employee relations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide meaningful insights.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Real team player.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
