Market Development Engineer for Interconnect, Passive

As a Market Development Engineer specializing in Interconnect, Passive & Electromechanical (IP&E) technologies, you will play a key role in driving business growth and market expansion for Arrow Iberia Electronica Slu.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive solution programs to accelerate market, sales, and profit growth within assigned markets or business segments.
- Specialize in key market segments and technologies, owning the go-to-market strategy plan for assigned markets/business segments.
- Conduct business strategy activities, including total available market analysis, market share analysis, segmentation, competitive analysis, emerging trends, SWOT analysis, and product positioning.
- Collaborate with the Business Unit (BU) on product road mapping, new product development, and product management activities to support assigned markets.
- Work with suppliers, product management, and other product and engineering resources to clarify product and service needs, requirements, and priorities.
- Create, gain approvals for, and execute comprehensive products and service offers.
- Contribute to the development of communication programs and materials for use in business development.
- Evaluate, recommend, and manage supplier and channel programs within assigned markets.
- Contribute to the development of marketing campaigns, tools, and training programs aimed at driving increased market share and visibility for internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead market or segment-based Voice of Customer activities to capture product reception and validate new marketing opportunities.
- Build and manage influential relationships with key suppliers.
- Make joint calls with Arrow and supplier sales personnel where strategically and tactically appropriate on a regular basis.
- Be involved with supplier web training for new products, new product releases, and supplier promotions, and identify market/customer penetration strategies with appropriate products.
- Experience in the electronics industry or manufacturing in similar positions in Sales, Engineering, Marketing, or Product management.
- Experience in IP&E.
- Experience in engineering and business strategy – market & customer segmentation; competitive product benchmarking, financial analysis (ROI, pricing, scenario analysis).
- Strong sales skills.
- Full driving license and readiness for business travel.
- English language skills – fluently in writing and spoken.
- Spanish language skills (native or C1).
- Expertise in engaging with executive-level stakeholders.
- Track record in delivering results in market/segment management or development of comprehensive solution offers in the business-to-business industry.
- Understanding of performance measurement tools and technology.
- Demonstration of project/team leadership, and collaboration skills.
