Market Development Engineer for Interconnect, Passive Electromechanical Components

We are seeking a highly skilled Market Development Engineer to join our team at Arrow Iberia Electronica Slu. As a Market Development Engineer, you will play a key role in determining, developing, scaling, and leading the implementation of successful solution programs that accelerate market, sales, and profit growth within the associated markets or business segments.
Key Responsibilities- Specialize in key market segments and technologies of the business, as assigned within the dedicated Vertical
- Own the go-to-market strategy plan for the assigned market/business segment
- Conduct business strategy activities to include total available market, market share, segmentation, competitive analysis, emerging trends, SWOT, and product positioning
- Collaborate with the BU on product road mapping, new product development, and product management activities to support the assigned market
- Work with supplier, product management, and other product and engineering resources to clarify product and service needs, requirements, and priorities
- Create, gain approvals for, and execute (upon approval) comprehensive products and service offers
- Contribute to the development of communication programs and materials for use in business development
- Evaluate, recommend, and manage supplier and channel programs within the assigned market
- Contribute to the development of marketing campaigns, tools, and training programs aimed to drive increased market share and visibility for internal, and external stakeholders
- Lead market or segment-based Voice of Customer activities to capture product reception and validate new marketing opportunities
- Build and manage influential relationships with key suppliers
- Make joint calls with ARROW and supplier's Sales personnel where it is strategically and tactically appropriate on a regular basis
- Be involved with supplier web training for new products, new product releases, and supplier promotions, and identify market/customer penetration strategies with the appropriate products
- Experience in electronics industry or manufacturing in similar positions in Sales, Engineering, Marketing or Product management - must have
- Experience in IPE - must have
- Experience in engineering and business strategy market customer segmentation; competitive product benchmarking, financial analysis (ROI, pricing, scenario analysis) - must have
- Strong sales skills
- Full driving license and readiness for business travel - must have
- English language skills - fluently in writing and spoken
- Spanish language skills (native or C1)
- Expertise in engaging to executive-level stakeholders
- Track record in delivering results in market/segment management or development of comprehensive solutions offers in business-to-business industry
- Understanding of performance measurement tools and technology
- Demonstration of project/team leadership, and collaboration skills
